I have 3 fire sticks and wanted to upgrade to a firetv so this was perfect. So far, 4k and kodi work perfectly. Like others, my apps section was blank at firstbut I just restarted it (real restart, not turn tv on off bc that doesn't really restart it) and the app section was working normal. If you need the Ethernet port or micro sd then you're out of luck I guess, but those of you with a good Wi-Fi connection that mainly just stream, this is perfect.
